EPL FIXTURES and Pep Guardiola on International Management

Pep Guardiola, Manchester City coach speaks about taking his coach skills to the international level some day. Guardiola signed for City at the start of 2016-2017 season. He guided City to the English Premier League title and League Cup last season and remains the favourite to retain their title this season.
Responding to questions in Peerd Annual Lecture at Liverpool University, he hopes not to end his career with City but be an international coach where he would time to play golf and involved a little in the pitch.

"I would like to be an international manager in a national team.

"Sooner or later, it will happen because every three days I would like to be involved, but a little bit more calm, play more golf...

"So yes, sooner or later it is going to happen, if I have a chance and some international team wants to come knock, 'knock' (at the door). We will see.

Guardiola believes the EPL makes him a better manager than what he was with Barcelona and Bayern Munchen because of the competitive  nature of the League

"I am a better manager than I was in Germany and I am a better manager now than I was in Barcelona by far, just for the fact of being there.

"Now, I feel being here I am a better manager too because I learned to handle this incredible league in many circumstances.

"It is the toughest one, for the amount of games, for the weather and the referees saying, 'play, play, play' and the competitors, there are many. It is the only country that five or six can win the Premier League."

The Champions continue their unbeaten run today with a test again former manager, Manuel Pellegrini team, West Ham United.
