Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc is an independent indigenous Nigerian oil and gas exploration and production company with a strategic focus on Nigeria,
listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange (“LSE”) (LSE:SEPL) and Premium Board of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (“NSE”) (NSE:SEPLAT). The Company’s portfolio comprises six blocks in the Niger Delta, four of which Seplat operates directly. Seplat is pursuing a Nigeria focused growth strategy and is well-positioned to participate in future divestment programmes by the international oil companies, farm-in opportunities and future licensing rounds.

About the scholarship 
The Seplat Joint Venture Scholarship Scheme is one of Seplat's educational Corporate Social Responsibility programmes and is designed to promote educational development and human capacity building through provision of yearly grants to successful applicants to complete their degree programme.

Eligibility 

1. Applicants must be in their second year of study or above. 
2. Applicants must have at least 5 O’ level credit passes (English and Mathematics inclusive) at one sitting. 
3. Applicants must not hold any other scholarship award.
4. Applicants must be studying any the following courses;  

Ø  Accountancy 

Ø  Agriculture 

Ø  Architecture 

Ø  Business Administration 

Ø  Chemical Engineering

Ø  Civil Engineering 

Ø  Computer Engineering 

Ø  Computer Science 

Ø  Economics, Electrical / Electronic Engineering 

Ø  Geology 

Ø  Geophysics 

Ø  Medicine 

Ø  Law 

Ø  Mass Communication 

Ø  Mechanical Engineering 

Ø  Metallurgical Engineering 

Ø  Petroleum Engineering
