Victor Moses retirement: real reason unveils

Victor Moses is one of the most talented Nigeria wingers who can hold on the ball and create chances.
Moses real reason for his retirement from the Super Eagles team was unveiled by the Nigeria Football Federation - NFF, during an interview with journalists in South Africa where the Eagles of Nigeria prepared to face Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the ongoing Africa Nation Cup qualifiers, Saturday.
Moses who announced his retirement from international football August 2018 is yet to catch the eyes of his new coach Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea FC.

The 27-year-old feature two times in the Premier League this season for Chelsea coming from the bench. Moses according  to the NFF 2nd vice president, Shehu Dikko will depart Chelsea soon to get playing time.

Dikko according  to Daily Post, says that Moses retirement from International Football was to focus on his club football, to fight for a place in the first team under his new manager.

The NFF says Moses was honest on his decision and do it the right way by informing the NFF formally not like others who announced it on social media without informing the body.

Dikko says "Victor Moses was very honest, he called everybody that he wanted to take this decision, that he had a new coach coming to his team, the tactics is being changed and he needed to sit up, focus and sustain his position in the first team.

"We respect his decision, at least we didn't hear it from the media like some players did.

"He did it the proper way, discussed with his coach, the president, the team and some of us that he trusts, that this is what he wanted to do.

"We gave him our own advice, at the end of the day we have to respect his decision.
"In the old system they were playing, Moses was indispensable, now another coach has come with another system.
"Hopefully by January he'll get himself sorted, we still need him", he added.

However, Sarri has made it clear that Moses does not fit to his football styles as he believed on passing the ball from the back.
